On November 10, 2025, Member of the University Board and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities M.K. Ibraimov, in honor of Al-Farabi’s 1155th anniversary, with the support of the Farabi Center, awarded the following students during the “Al-Farabi Week”:
First-year Philosophy student Zhanat Zhanerke, who won 2nd place for the scientific essay titled “Al-Farabi’s Wisdom and Future Technologies” (Scientific Supervisor: Zh.N. Kazieva); First-year Cultural Studies student, who won 1st place for an infographic titled “Presenting Al-Farabi’s Ideas in a Modern Language” (Scientific Supervisor: Zh.N. Kazieva); Fourth-year student Samedov Madiyar, who won 1st place in the scientific project “Al-Farabi’s Ideas and Their Relevance in the 21st Century” (Scientific Supervisor: Gabitov T.Kh.) — awarded a certificate, monetary prize, and KazNU badge. Additionally: For essays, 1st place was awarded to Journalism student Sadyrkan Dana (Scientific Supervisor: Maikotova G.), and 3rd place to History student Baubekkizy Kamila. For scientific projects, 2nd place winners were Aldan A., Seydulla G.D., Kazakhbaeva G.I. — awarded a certificate, monetary prize, and KazNU badge; 3rd place went to Geography student Serik Magzhan (Scientific Supervisor: Kairakbayeva G.S.). For infographics, 2nd place went to Economics student Nusipzhanova Aida, 3rd place to Tolebayeva Zhuldyz. For AI video projects, 1st place went to Economics students Berkin Dilnaz, Darkhan Eleonora, Smagul Zhandos; 2nd place to Geography student Turymtayev Zhanarys Bakhytzhanuly (Scientific Supervisor: Asylbekova A.A.); 3rd place to Mechanics and Mathematics student Begim Aigerim (Scientific Supervisor: Abenov B.K.).
