In 1998, she graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In 2003, she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences on the topic “Ontological and methodological foundations of social cognition in the philosophical teachings of Abu Nasr al-Farabi”. Participant of the government program “Cultural Heritage” for the translation of world heritage into the state language (2004-2005), scientific editor for the translation, editing and publication of books in the framework of the project ” New Humanitarian knowledge. 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language” (2017). Author and co-author of many textbooks, tutorials, and articles, including those included in the Scopus database.

Ainura Durbelenovna Kurmanaliyeva’s research interests include the philosophy of al-Farabi in the context of Arab-Muslim philosophy and modern problems of the religious situation in Kazakhstan.
