In 1978, at Moscow State University, he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences on the topic “Kalam Atomistics and its place in medieval Arab-Muslim philosophy”. In 1984, at the Institute of Philosophy of the USSR Academy of Sciences, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on the topic “The Philosophy of Kalam”.

Author of the monograph “Classical Arab-Muslim Culture” (1997). Co-author of such works as “Russian-English-Arabic Explanatory Dictionary of Social Sciences” (1992), “Muslim Holy History” (1996), “Guide to the Koran” (1998), “Holy History according to the Koran: pre-Islamic antiquities” (2012) , etc.
